A few showers will pass through on Election Day, but nothing that will prevent anyone from voting.  Tranquil conditions will be in place the rest of the week along with the threat for frost and freeze conditions in the morning hours.

TODAY

A stronger cold front will move through the region today with scattered showers through this afternoon.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY

A series of cold fronts and troughs will move through the region with scattered clouds and a few isolated showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid-30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid-30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY 

High pressure will be in control with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid-30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast for highs.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

An area of low pressure will pass through the coastal waters with isolated showers through the period, possibly mixing with snow in higher elevations.  Temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid-30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s for highs.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY

A series of weak cold fronts will move through the region with scattered clouds and isolated showers to widely scattered showers.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for highs.
