Another quiet week is expected for the area as high pressure dominates the forecast. An area of low pressure will slide just to our south on Wednesday. Things become more unsettled heading into the holiday weekend.
Sunday: Skies will begin to clear as an area of low-pressure pushes off the coast. Temperatures will range from the upper-30s to mid-40s for the coast while the interior ranges from the low-30s to mid-30s. Winds will be from the northwest at 10-15 mph. Overnight lows will drop into the low-20s to upper-20s. Some locations in the mountains could fall into the upper teens.
Monday: A nice day with mostly sunny skies and calm conditions is expected. Daytime highs will range from the low-30s to the upper-30s. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 mph. Overnight lows will fall into the low-30s to upper-30s for the coast while the interior ranges from the low-20s to upper-20s.
Tuesday: Another nice day is on tap with sunny skies and tranquil conditions. High temperatures will climb into the upper-30s to mid-40s. The mountains may be stuck in the low-30s for highs. Winds will be from the south at 5-10 mph. Low temperatures will drop into the low-30s to mid-30s for the coast while the interior ranges from the low-20s to upper-20s.
Wednesday: Increasing clouds with the chance of widely scattered showers are expected today as an area of low-pressure slides just to our south. Temperatures will climb into the mid-30s to low-40s for highs. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Temperatures will fall into the low-20s to upper-20s.
Thursday: Cloudy skies early will give way to sunshine later in the day. Highs will range from the low-30s to near 40. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Lows will range from the low-20s to near 30.
Friday: Intervals of clouds and sun are expected but clouds will increase ahead of the next incoming system. Highs will range from the mid-30s to low-40s for highs. Winds will be from the south at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the upper-20s to mid-30s.
Weekend: A clipper system will bring rain and a surge of warm air to the region. Some wet snow could mix in for our northernmost elevations. Highs will range from the mid-40s to mid-50s. Winds will be from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Lows will range from the low-30s to upper-30s.
