TODAY
High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered clouds. Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph this morning, subsiding to 5 to 15 mph by evening. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-10s over the interior and upper 10s to mid-20s along the coast for highs. Wind chill temperatures will be in the single digits to mid-10s.
TONIGHT
High pressure will pass over the region with clear skies to scattered clouds. Winds will be from the north at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will fall into the single digits to mid-10s for lows.
TOMORROW
An area of low pressure will approach the region with increasing clouds through the morning followed by periods of snow and sleet in the afternoon. The wintry mix will change over to rain along the coast in the evening. Winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph at times. Temperatures will rise into the upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid-30s to lower 40s along the coast for evening highs.
TOMORROW NIGHT
The low-pressure system will lift through the region with a wintry mix of snow and sleet over the interior and periods of heavy rain along the coast. Winds will be from the east at 10 to 20 mph over the interior and 15 to 30 mph along the coast with gusts between 40 to 70 mph at times. Coastal flooding and power outages will be a threat. Temperatures will hold in the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to mid-40s along the coast for
lows.
MONDAY
The low-pressure system will lift into New England in the morning with the wintry mix over the interior and rain along the coast tapering off. Rain and snow showers will linger through the evening. Winds will be from the southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph at times. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to mid-40s along the coast for highs in the morning before falling through the 30s and
20s in the evening.
