A rather raw march week is expected with more clouds than sun accompanied by cool temperatures. A cold front will provide several days of rain and onshore flow come midweek. More below-average temperatures are expected as we head into the weekend.
Sunday: A mostly cloudy day with peaks of the sun is possible. Drizzle or a stray shower can not be ruled out, especially for northern regions. Highs will rise into the mid-40s to low-50s for the interior while the coast ranges from the low-50s to upper-50s. Winds will be from the west at 10-15 mph. Lows will drop into the low-30s to upper-30s.
Monday: A drier day is on tap with a mix of sun and clouds expected. A stray shower can not be ruled out overnight for northern areas. Highs will rise into the low-50s to upper-50s for northern regions while southern areas get into the mid-50s to low-60s. Winds will be from the west at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the low-30s to upper-30s for northern regions while southern areas range from the upper-30s to mid-40s.
Tuesday: A dry and sunny day is expected with high pressure in control. Highs will reach into the low-40s to near 50 for northern areas while southern areas range from the low-50s to upper-50s. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the low-30s to near 40 for northern areas while southern areas range from the upper-30s to mid-40s.
Wednesday: Clouds will increase and showers are likely in the afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches the region. Highs will range from the low-40s to near 50 for northern areas while southern areas range from the upper-40s to mid-50s. Winds will be from the east at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the low-30s to near 40 for northern areas while southern areas range from the low-40s to near 50.
Thursday: Another raw day is expected with clouds and showers throughout the day. Highs will remain in the mid-30s to low-40s for northern areas while southern areas are in the mid-40s to low-50s. Winds will be from the northeast at 5-10 mph. Lows will fall into the mid-30s to mid-40s.
Friday: A mostly cloudy day with a residual shower can be expected as the system begins to pull away. Highs will rise into the mid-40s to low-50s for the interior while the coast ranges from the low-50s to near 60. Winds will be from the southwest at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the low-30s to near 40.
Weekend: A weak disturbance will swing through the area on Saturday providing a scattered rain shower but an otherwise dry weekend can be expected. Highs will range from the mid-40s to mid-50s. Winds will be from the northwest at 10-15 mph. Lows will fall into the low-30s to near 40.
