A series of weak troughs of low-pressure is expected through this week to produce a threat for isolated showers each day.

 

A series of weak troughs and cold fronts today on through Wednesday will produce scattered to broken cloud cover along with isolated showers.  Winds will veer from the west to the north at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 50s over the interior, mid-50s to lower 60s in the New York City metro, and mid to upper 60s in the Philadelphia metro.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the mid-30s to lower 40s for lows and mid-40s for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-50s for highs.

 

A series of weak cold fronts and troughs will follow on Thursday and Friday with scattered to broken cloud cover and isolated to widely scattered showers.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the lower to mid-30s for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s for highs.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s for highs.

 

High pressure will be in control on Saturday on through Sunday afternoon with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  A cold front will approach with widely scattered showers in the evening.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid to upper 30s for lows and mid-50s for highs.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the lower to mid-40s for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s for highs.
