Website Upgrades!

Yesterday we completed our first round of upgrades at NY NJ PA Weather that I want to share with you.

First, I want to apologize for any down time in service yesterday. Due to security upgrades, I had to shut down the Premium Dash Board and access to address an immediate security concern. This was resolved by 6:30 PM yesterday. If you have any problems with access the discussions, please reach out to me.

On to the upgrades!

So first, you are now able to edit your profile under the top right bar called "Howdy". Click on your name, which then takes you to the back of the website. When you click on dashboard, you go to the screen seen to your left.

Here you'll can easily email NY NJ PA Weather if you have any problems with the website or suggestions. On the far right, you can see any website information like if their are any scheduled down times for the website or changes to update times, for example a holiday. Also, you can see how far along updates are each morning. Below, you now have the option to update your payment options, change your password, and update your membership. You can also see when. your membership is expiring and also your payment history.

The second upgrade that you'll see is the payment options. I have added pay pal to the options that you can use to pay with. A few years ago I moved away from pay pal due to security concerns. These issues have been resolved and I feel confident that your information will be safe, or at least as safe as I can make it. So now you have the option to pay by debit card, credit card, or pay pal, which ever you feel most comfortable with.

There were other upgrades made that you won't see like ability to load faster. Also, upgrades in maps used and data presentation is on the way.

All of these changes are based on your emails you have sent me over the months and the survey that was sent a few months ago.
