Muggy conditions will continue through this week with morning fog and afternoon thunderstorms.  A significant rainstorm is brewing for Friday night.

 

Low clouds and fog will lift toward noon with scattered clouds and a threat for a few isolated showers and thunderstorms between 2 to 6 PM.  Winds will be from the southeast at 2 to 5 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-70s to lower 80s along the coast and lower to mid-80s elsewhere for highs.

 

A trough will continue to linger over the region tonight on through Thursday with areas of fog and low clouds in the morning followed by scattered to broken cloud cover along with isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Winds will be from the south to southeast at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast and mid-80s to lower 90s elsewhere for highs.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast and mid-80s to lower 90s elsewhere for highs.

 

An area of low pressure will approach the region on Friday with increasing clouds and showers developing in the afternoon.  Periods of rain along with windy conditions can be expected Friday evening on through Saturday morning.  Showers will linger on through Saturday afternoon.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the lower to mid-70s for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s for highs.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the lower to mid-70s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s for highs.

 

A series of cold fronts will follow on Sunday and Monday with areas of fog in the morning hours and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the lower to mid-70s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast and upper 80s to lower 90s elsewhere for highs.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the upper 60s to lower 70s for lows and upper 70s to mid-80s along the coast and upper 80s to lower 90s elsewhere for highs.
