Cool and pleasant conditions will continue for much of the week as a tranquil weather pattern continues.

 

High pressure will pass over the region today on through tomorrow morning with clear skies to a few clouds.  Some hazy caused by the smoke from the fires over the western United States can be expected.  Winds will be light and variable.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-60s to lower 70s for highs this afternoon.

 

High pressure will be to the east of the region tomorrow on through Thursday with scattered cloud cover expected.  Winds will veer from the southeast to southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and upper 60s to mid-70s for highs.  Temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.

 

A cold front will follow on Friday with isolated to widely scattered showers.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and mid-60s to lower 70s for highs.

 

High pressure will be in control for Saturday on through Tuesday with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid to upper 50s for lows and mid to upper 60s for highs.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 60s for highs.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s for lows and upper 50s to mid-60s for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid-40s to lower 50s along the coast for lows and mid-60s to lower 70s for highs.
