Clouds are on the increase as the tranquil weather pattern will start to give way to an increased potential for showers by this weekend.

 

High pressure will pass over the region today on through tomorrow with scattered to broken cloud cover expected.  Winds will veer from the northwest to southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures this afternoon will rise into the mid to upper 70s for highs.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.

 

An area of low pressure will pass to the south of the region on Saturday with scattered to broken clouds and isolated showers.  Winds will be from the east at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid to upper 50s for lows and lower to mid-70s for highs.

 

A cold front will pass through the region on Sunday with isolated showers a threat.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the upper 50s to mid-60s for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.

 

A series of cold fronts will follow Monday through Wednesday with widely scattered to scattered showers.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and lower to mid-70s along the coast and mid to upper 70s elsewhere for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the mid to upper 60s for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 50s to mid-60s for lows and lower to mid-70s for highs.

 

High pressure will produce clear skies to scattered cloud cover on Thursday.  Temperatures will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s for lows and lower to mid-70s for highs.
