High pressure will continue to provide excellent weather, but a return to a threat of showers is just around the corner.

 

High pressure will remain in control today on through tomorrow with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-70s to lower 80s for highs today.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the mid-40s to lower 50s over the interior and mid to upper 50s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 70s for highs.  

 

High pressure will exit on Friday with scattered clouds expected.  Winds will back to the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the mid to upper 50s for lows and lower to mid-70s for highs. 

 

An area of low pressure will pass to the south of the region with periods of showers over southern New Jersey on Friday night through Saturday morning followed by scattered to broken clouds and isolated showers throughout the rest of Saturday for the rest of the region.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and lower to mid-70s for highs.

 

A series of cold fronts will follow Sunday on through Wednesday with isolated to widely scattered showers capable of brief heavy downpours at times.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and mid-70s to lower 80s for highs.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and mid to upper 70s for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s for lows and mid to upper 70s for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 50s to mid-60s for lows and mid-60s to lower 70s for highs.
