High pressure will build into the region Monday evening through Tuesday with clear skies to scattered cloud cover. Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the mid-20s to lower 30s for lows and upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.
An area of low pressure will approach the region on Wednesday with increasing clouds in the morning followed by snow, sleet, and rain in the afternoon and evening along the coast and snow and sleet over the interior. Windy conditions are expected. Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 10s to mid-20s for lows and mid-20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s in the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas,
and upper 30s to mid-40s over southern New Jersey.
As the low-pressure system passes through the coastal waters Wednesday evening through Thursday morning, all precipitation will change over to snow, heavy at times. Snow accumulation, potentially significant snowfall over 6", is currently expected for the entire region. Windy conditions will conditions. The snow will exit by Thursday afternoon. Temperatures on Thursday will fall through the 40s, 30s, and 20s through the
day.

highs.
