A developing area of low pressure will bring light to moderate snow, sleet, and rain to the region.  Another storm threat is possible by next weekend as well.

 

An area of low pressure will approach the region while developing to the south with a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and rain along the coast and snow over the interior.  Winds will be from the northeast at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-30s to lower 40s for highs.

 

The area of low pressure will pass through the coastal waters tonight with periods of snow over the interior and a mix of rain and snow along the coast.  The rain/snow mix will change over to all snow before ending in the major metropolitan areas with some minor snow accumulation on cold surfaces if any.  Winds will be from the north at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows.  Details on impacts can be seen below.

A series of troughs will pass through the region tomorrow through Wednesday with scattered clouds and a few isolated rain/snow showers.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will rise into the mid-30s to lower 40s for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows and lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the mid to upper 20s for lows and lower to mid-30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.

 

High pressure will slowly exit the region on Thursday and Friday with scattered cloud cover.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 20s for lows and lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to lower 40s along the coast for highs on Thursday.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the mid-10s to lower 20s over the interior and mid to upper 20s along the coast for lows and upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.

 

An area of low pressure will produce the threat of rain and snow over the region on Saturday.  Temperatures will range from the mid-10s to lower 20s over the interior and mid-20s to lower 30s along the coast for lows and upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.

 

High pressure will produce scattered clouds on Sunday.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-10s over the interior and upper 10s to mid-20s along the coast for lows and upper 20s to lower 30s over the interior and mid to upper 30s along the coast for highs.
