Well above normal temperatures and tranquil conditions will continue but a strong cold front will bring a much cooler weather pattern by the weekend.

TODAY

High pressure will be in control with clear skies to scattered cloud cover.  Winds will be from the west-southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures today will rise into the upper 60s to lower 70s over the interior and lower to mid-70s along the coast for highs.

TONIGHT THROUGH TOMORROW

High pressure will exit off the coast with increasing cloud cover.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower to mid-50s for lows and lower to mid-70s for highs.

FRIDAY

A cold front will move through the region with scattered to broken clouds along with isolated showers.  Winds will veer from the southwest to the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Friday will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and mid-60s to lower 70s along the coast for highs.

FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY

A wave of low pressure will develop along the cold front over the coastal waters with scattered showers and cloudy skies expected.  Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 40s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to mid-60s along the coast for highs.

SUNDAY

High pressure will build into the region with scattered cloud cover and a few isolated showers.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-50s over the interior and upper 50s to lower 60s along the coast for highs.

MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

High pressure will be in control with clear skies to scattered clouds.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid-40s along the coast for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s over the interior and lower to mid-50s along the coast for highs.  Temperatures on Tuesday will range from the lower to mid-30s over the interior and upper 30s to mid-40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-50s for highs.  Temperatures on Wednesday will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s over the interior and mid to upper 40s along the coast for lows and lower to mid-60s over the interior and mid to upper 60s along the coast for highs.
