High pressure over the coastal waters will continue to support tranquil conditions through mid-week.  However, an active weather pattern will return by the end of the week into the Memorial Day Weekend.

TONIGHT

High pressure off the coast will produce scattered clouds and areas of fog.  Winds will be from the southwest at 1 to 5 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid-50s in areas of fog and mid to upper 50s elsewhere for lows.

TOMORROW

High pressure will produce scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the mid-60s to lower 70s on Long Island, mid to upper 70s along the coast, and upper 70s to lower 80s elsewhere for highs.

TOMORROW NIGHT

High pressure will produce scattered clouds and areas of fog.  Winds will be from the southwest at 1 to 5 mph.  Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 50s for lows.

WEDNESDAY

High pressure will exit the region with scattered clouds.  Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 60s to mid-70s on Long Island, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, and lower to mid-80s elsewhere for highs.

THURSDAY

A cold front will pass through the region with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.  The thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours, occasional lightning, and wind gusts over 40 mph.  Winds will veer to the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s over the interior, upper 70s to lower 80s along the coast, and lower to mid-80s in the Delaware River Valley for highs.

FRIDAY

A cold front will slowly sink to the south of the region, with broken clouds and scattered showers.  Winds will be from the west at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid-60s for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s for highs.

SATURDAY

A stationary front will produce broken clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s over the interior and lower to mid-60s along the coast for lows and upper 70s to lower 80s for highs.

SUNDAY

A stationary front will produce broken clouds and isolated showers.  Temperatures will range from the mid-50s to lower 60s for lows and upper 60s to lower 70s along the coast and mid to upper 70s over the interior for highs.

MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY
