Winds will be from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s to lower 90s with a heat index in the mid 90s to lower 100s.
A weakening cold front will move through the region this evening on through tomorrow morning with with scattered showers and strong to severe thunderstorms. The thunderstorms will be capable of torrential downpours, frequent lightning, hail, and wind gusts over 60 mph. Wind damage and flash flooding are potential impacts. The cold front will stall over the coastal waters and weaken into a trough over the region. Winds will veer from the southwest to northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 60s to mid-70s for lows and mid to upper 80s for highs.
